LEARN ABOUT THE SCHOLAS PROGRAMS
MUSIC SCHOOLS
The experience brings together young people from different neighborhoods and social realities to compose and record songs in order to enhance their voice, put music to their stories and lyrics to their dreams. The program is aimed at young people who show an artistic inclination, coming from different backgrounds.
SCHOLAS CITIZENSHIP
This is the founding experience of Scholas. For six days, between two hundred and four hundred young people from different schools in the same community meet to choose two problems that affect them on a daily basis. After delving into the problems, they take responsibility by creating solutions that they present to local authorities on the last day.
THINK US
Virtual program oriented to the emotional health of young people, offers a methodology where thinking, feeling and doing are harmonized to generate emotional health by reducing negative emotions such as sadness, anguish and lack of future, and increasing positive emotions such as hope , joy and the desire to do something for others.
SCHOOL OF PLAY, ART AND THOUGHT
After meeting at Scholas Ciudadania as a foundational educational experience, this second stage presents young people with the possibility of beginning a path as educators, sharing their passions and learning with others. Young people discover Scholas' pedagogical perspective and learn educational methodologies to put into practice in their community.
FANCIULLO
In a world that often requires young people to be adults, this educational proposal is an invitation to students from different realities to meet and live in the time and world of childhood, to recognize the reality that surrounds them. With play, painting, thinking, writing, and photography, we worked for three days in this common space on the themes of gaze, time, and wonder.
